The history of webdesign@misunderstated:
crstffr has been making websites since 1997.
In 1998, crstffr launched
nails, a fansite for Nine Inch Nails.
In 1999, working for IBM, crstffr had the chance to create a website for an internal IBM department. This was also his first professional experience with PHP and MySQL.
Chosing to go to college for Multimedia in late 1999, crstffr had many opportunities for creating websites.
In 2000, crstffr launched misunderstated ver1 as a school project.
After graduating in 2001, crstffr started working freelance for
Firebrand Media in 2002 to create Content Management Systems (CMS) for local businesses.
23 projects and 4 years later, crstffr still creates sites with PHP and MySQL, the same setup he learned while working with IBM in 1999.
The majority of the work crstffr has done in the past is not so much web design, but more web development, creating online web applications that benefit companies by improving efficiency, or offering online sales.
